Sports Day 2026

🏅 Sports Day 2026

Despite the hot weather, we were delighted to hold a successful Sports Day this week. To ensure the safety and wellbeing of all of our children, the event looked a little different this year. Rather than our usual whole-school celebration, the field events and wonderful races took place during the morning hours, allowing everyone to take part while staying as comfortable as possible.

The children showed fantastic enthusiasm, determination and resilience throughout the event. Whether they were running, cheering on their friends or taking part in team activities, they demonstrated excellent sportsmanship and encouraged one another every step of the way. It was wonderful to see so many smiles and such a positive atmosphere. School values cerificates were given out this morning to those who showed great school values during the event. A big well done to them all.

Congratulations to Sapphire House, who were crowned this year's Sports Day champions after a fantastic team performance. Well done to every child who contributed points for their house—every effort really did make a difference.

Thank you to our staff, families and volunteers for helping make the morning such an enjoyable and memorable occasion for everyone.
