On Monday Herons went to Butser Ancient Farm.

First we went into a Stone Age round house and then we found out how long the Stone Age era lasted. Then we found out the Stone Age era was way bigger than all of the others .... it was massive and then we made clay pots and we sculpted them.

Then we went into a Bronze Age house and learnt about some farming tools. Then we learnt that a Bronze Age house was way bigger than a Stone Age house.

Then we went to get our lunch. After that we made rings out of bronze, they were really pretty. They looked like this - see picture above.
