Welcome to Kestrels Class

Spring term 2024 – Welcome to Spring term 2024!

Kestrels class have so many exciting opportunities coming up as the top class in the school – Young Voices, Petersfield Music Festival, residential and so much more.

We will be linking our learning to Science this term – Living things and their habitats and the children have already begun to learn about Arctic foxes, kangaroos, snakes, echidnas, porcupines and many others.

Mrs Repp, Mrs Ward and Miss Lockyer will be in class supporting children with their learning and ensuring that everything runs smoothly.

PE days remain on Monday and Thursday and we are learning two new activities- netball (my favourite) and yoga. The children are already enthusiastic about these. Mrs Newton will continue to teach the class on Wednesday afternoons and Fridays I’m really looking forward to watching your children really learn how to develop their teamwork skills in class, grow in maturity and develop further friendships.
