Year 6 Quiz at Langrish

On Tuesday 10th March Dino, Lucy Rose, Noah and I went to a 'Small Schools' Quiz in Langrish School; we came in second place. There were different categories of questions like science, geography, general knowledge, world general knowledge, picture round, art and history. Mrs Robinson was the leader of the quiz.

Following our enjoyment of the National Quiz Championships, we were inspired to organise our own Year 6 quiz event at Langrish School. The aim was to create a fun and engaging competition where pupils could test their knowledge, work as a team, and experience the excitement of a quiz tournament.

The event brought together Year 6 pupils from several local schools. Teams competed in a variety of rounds that included general knowledge, geography, science, art and literature. The atmosphere throughout the event was enthusiastic and supportive, with children encouraging one another and showing great teamwork.

All of the participants performed extremely well and demonstrated impressive knowledge and determination. It was clear that everyone had prepared carefully and was eager to do their best. Most importantly, the children had a lot of fun taking part and enjoyed the opportunity to challenge themselves in a friendly competition.

After a very close contest, Langrish finished in first place. Sheet School followed closely behind in second place, making the final results particularly exciting. Every team should be proud of their effort and positive attitude throughout the event.

Overall, the Year 6 quiz was a great success and a memorable experience for everyone involved. We hope to organise similar events again in the future.

Mrs Robinson.
