Welcome to Kingfisher Class

Welcome to Kingfishers! Kingfisher class are lucky to have two class teachers this academic year. Miss Buxey will be working with the pupils on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and I (Mrs Stead) will be continuing the learning journey on Thursday and Friday. We are lucky to have a variety of staff to help support the pupils learning at different times throughout the day including Mrs Ward, Mrs Repp, Mrs Lockyer and Miss Askew. 

We shall begin the term by getting stuck into our very exciting topic – Tantalising Toys! Our historical learning will involve comparing and contrasting the toys that we have today with toys from the past. I can’t wait to find out about the toys that your parents and grandparents enjoyed playing with! In art we will be identifying spirals in the natural environment before creating our very own designs. Our P.E. lessons will involve developing skills such as – hopping, skipping, jumping, balance and co-ordination. We will also be completing our daily mile. We are very much looking forward to getting to know all of the children and help them flourish with their learning.
