Meet our Governors

Jeff Sharpe

My wife and I moved to Sheet in 2011 to start
our family and we've always felt a close connection to Sheet Primary, even before we had children.  Now we have two, one at school and another starting in a few years.  I want to play an active role in setting the direction of the school, helping to ensure it continues to be an outstanding place for our children to learn and grow, and a key part of the Sheet community.

I work in marketing and communications in the technology sector, and I believe our children should have a well-rounded education including technology, science, sport and the arts.  I also work with Internet Matters (www.internetmatters.org) an organisation dedicated to helping parents and carers support their children in developing a healthy relationship with technology and the internet.

 Julie Robinson

I currently live in Rogate with my husband and two children aged 19 and 18.

I decided to train to be a teacher when my children were very young. I qualified in 2003 and since then I have worked in a number of different schools; Camelsdale Primary as a class teacher and Senior Leader, Northchapel Primary School as joint Head, Godalming Junior School as Deputy Head/SENCo and Acting Head.

I joined Sheet Primary School as Headteacher in April 2015 and gained my NPQH in the same year.

My motivations; I have a passion for making a difference to the lives of children and their families here, for ensuring that each and every child and adult in my school has the opportunity to be the best they can be. I encourage my teachers to be creative, to design interesting and stimulating lessons that give children the opportunity to grow and thrive in today’s society.
