Dear Parents and Carers,
What an exciting week we've had at Sheet Primary School! Our Herons class truly stepped back in time with the fantastic "Portals into the Past" workshop. The children immersed themselves completely in Saxon life, dressing up and participating in a full day of historical activities. It was brilliant to see them so engaged and enjoying such an interactive learning experience.
Looking ahead, we have some fantastic sporting opportunities coming up. Our running club members are gearing up for a special 2k cross country event at Perrins School. The top 12 finishers in Years 5 and 6 will have the incredible chance to represent East Hampshire at the County Event on 3rd March 2026 at Down Grange. We're incredibly proud of our pupils' dedication and can't wait to see how they perform. Good luck to all our young athletes!
We're also excited that some of our Year 6 pupils have been selected to attend an arts morning at Bedales. These opportunities are fantastic for broadening horizons and exploring creative talents.
These experiences show how we're committed to providing diverse, enriching activities that go beyond traditional classroom learning. Whether it's diving into historical re-enactments or representing our school in sporting events, our pupils continue to impress and inspire.
Have a wonderful weekend all.
