Dear Parents and Carers
Firstly, a huge well done to our wonderful Robins, who have survived their very first full week at school! They have done brilliantly settling into their new routines, getting to know their classroom and managing some very long and busy days. We are incredibly proud of them β although we suspect there may be some rather tired little Robins (and parents!) this weekend!
We are also delighted to welcome Holly Swanton, who has started her placement with us in Robins Class this week. We hope Holly really enjoys becoming part of the Sheet School team and getting to know our youngest children.
NEXT WEEK
Next week, our Kestrels are off to sunny Osmington Bay for their three-night residential! We have everything crossed for good weather and are looking forward to a fantastic few days of activities, challenges, teamwork and, undoubtedly, lots of fun.
I will be away from school with the children for part of the week, but I am, of course, still available should anyone need me.
We also have an EARA Network Meeting taking place next week.
Finally, on Friday, we will be holding our annual Macmillan Coffee Afternoon and Open Afternoon. Parents and families are invited to come into school, spend some time with us and enjoy tea and cake whilst supporting a very worthwhile cause.
Please see the letter sent out previously for full details. We would be very grateful for donations of shop-bought cakes for the afternoon β thank you, as always, for your support.
Your child has come home with a 'Spooky Sponsored Fun Run' flyer, today, this is our annual fun run which is a really enjoyable event. Children can wear 'fancy dress' on the last day of half term and run around the field. Once again we are giving a prize for the most funds raised by a child or family.
Have a lovely weekend!
