Hello everyone,
What a bustling week we've had at Sheet Primary! There's so much to share, and I'm thrilled to keep you all in the loop.
First off, a big shout-out to Miss Buxey and our fantastic pupils, Remy, Sam, and James, who represented us brilliantly at the "Protect the President" Dodgeball event at Bohunt on Tuesday. It's always exciting to see our children getting involved in these inter-school activities. They're not just great fun, but also brilliant for building team skills and fitness. Plus, it's a wonderful way for our pupils to meet children their age from other schools in the district. Keep an eye out for next term's fixtures, and please do encourage your children to take part – these experiences are truly invaluable!
We had such a warm welcome for our potential new parents this week, with a packed presentation. It's always a joy to see possible new faces thinking of joining our school community.
Our Year 5/6 children had a fascinating trip to Petersfield Museum, delving into the local history of evacuations. It's so important for our children to understand the rich tapestry of our local history, and I'm sure they came away with some eye-opening insights.
Today marked the closing date for the Henry Adams diorama competition. We had an impressive number of entries, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all our budding artists. Good luck to everyone who took part – your creativity never ceases to amaze me!
Looking ahead to next week, we've got some exciting things on the horizon. It's nasal flu vaccination week, so we'll be doing our bit to keep everyone healthy as we head into winter. We're also welcoming Shine Radio to the school – they'll be conducting some festive interviews with our pupils for broadcast. I can't wait to hear our little stars on the airwaves!
And last but certainly not least, the staging for our Christmas play arrives next week. The excitement is building, and I know our talented pupils and dedicated staff are working hard to put on a spectacular show. Be sure to book your tickets!
As always, thank you for your continued support and engagement. It's what makes Sheet Primary such a special place to learn and grow.
