Dear Parents
Another gorgeous sunny week at Sheet School with lots happening.
Last Friday, the juniors travelled to Anvil Arts at the Haymarket, Basingstoke to watch a performance of Peter Pan by the RARE Productions Youth Theatre. As this will be their school production this summer, it was a great way for them to see how the show came together and what could be achieved.
Monday was the first week of swimming lessons and how lucky we were with the weather! As it was quite tiring for the children to walk back after their lessons, we have managed to borrow a minibus to transport them back to school in future weeks.
Dom, from St Mary Magdalen Church, has been in working with the Year 5 children and learning about being 'The light of the World' and how to be kind to others. From the reaction of the children, they really enjoyed his interactive teamwork lessons which included painting, singing and sharing ideas.
Next week, we will celebrate VE Day on Thursday 8th - for a £1 donation, which will be given to a Ukranian charity - please come to school wearing red, white and blue colours. At 3.15 pm FOSS have organised a '40s' style tea and cakes on the field so, please come along and enjoy the fun.
Have a fabulous weekend, enjoy the bank holiday and we look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday 6th.
Mrs Robinson
