Dear Parents/Carers,
We had a nice quiet week for a change this week, however we get going again next week!
It was a real pleasure to take some Year 1/2 children to Bohunt on Tuesday, they did us proud with their magnificent athletics skills!
Thank you to everyone who brought in donations for our VE celebrations tea party after school yesterday and with mufti day we collected £273 a proportion of which will be sent to Ukraine Christian Partnership | UK Charity | Community Support.
Next week is a big week for our Year 6 class - SATs week - as was mentioned in assembly this morning, the children could not have done more to prepare themselves for the week and as we always say. These tests do not test how special and unique children are neither do they test how helpful, kind, trustworthy and thoughtful of each other they are. There are many ways of measuring how successful you will be in life. They are certainly not the 'be all and end all' so kick back, enjoy the weekend together and come back on Monday happy and well rested.
Next week:
The girls in Kestrels continue their football training (with Mrs Mifsud) ready for the tournament at East Meon. The library van will be here to exchange some of our county library books and Mrs Beenham carries on with her forest school training over the weekend.
Our new shed for the playground toys has arrived, if there is anyone who could spare some time after school one day - it would be great to get it put up!
Finally we have over 18 items of unnamed logo uniform in lost property which we can't return to their owners! Please make sure that everything that comes into school is labelled especially at this time of year when the children often take their jumpers/cardigans off and leave them on the field.

Enjoy the weekend!
